We travel north via the Pan-American highway towards Chancay. We will make a brief stop at the Delpino restaurant to buy some food and snacks before continuing on towards Huacho and Vegeta, where will turn off of the highway making our way to the citadel and religious center of Caral (one of the oldest in South America). This pyramid shaped structure was built around 5,000 years ago. It contains circular plazas, residential areas, sunken temples and much more.
